As I work on this final piece for my PME853 course, I am reminded of Serena Hick's and her Edutopia article, Teachers as Researchers:  The Power of Mindset.  In the article she spoke about Carole Dweck and hailed her as the "queen of mindset" (2015).  What truly resonated was that the mindset we adopt for ourselves profoundly affects the way we lead our lives, and ultimately our mindset impacts the minds of our students.  This is important!

I go back to September 2015 and think about my mindset as I started this journey to complete my the PME program.  I think about how this journey has shaped me and helped to build a mindset of growth and opportunity.  This summer, I will complete my final two courses for the PME Masters program, but I recognize that this will not be the end of my learning, it is the end of one chapter related to personal growth.  The next chapter lies ahead.....
